Who we are
A movement,
run by a hometown.
Community Reimagined is a Monrovia-rooted nonprofit organizing the resources, the conversations, and the events that make a city actually feel like a city — not just a zip code people happen to share.

“Believe in your dream, that’s why it was given to you. Never stop learning.”
Founder
Chris Loos
Connector. Organizer. Host.
Chris Loos founded Community Reimagined on a simple premise: most cities are not broken — they are disconnected. The talent, the services, the goodwill, the funding — most of it already exists. It is just not wired up.
His work is the wiring. Hosting the events, opening the doors, making the introductions, translating the city council meeting, putting the resource fair in the park where families actually go. The kind of civic infrastructure that does not show up in a budget line.
Based in Monrovia, California — building a model the rest of the country can run.

Our beliefs
Three thingswe hold to.
- 01
Visibility
A resource no one knows about is not a resource. Our first job is making the existing inventory of a city visible to the people inside it.
- 02
Repetition
Civic change does not happen in a launch event. It happens in the third, the fifth, the twentieth gathering. We design programs that can run again.
- 03
Integrity
What we do with every resource is thoughtfully designed. We make sure all funds go to the initiatives they were intended to cultivate.
